The Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist provides mainly group and individual therapy to adolescents in the Outpatient Behavioral Health Program served in a local school district.
Maintaining accurate program documentation and medical records. Conducts assessments, develops and implements a plan of treatment, communicates with the school district and other appropriate parties regarding student’s progress. Facilitates referrals and acts as a liaison between the hospital system and the school district. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to work with diverse group of clients based upon diagnoses and age specific needs.
Masters in Social Work, psychology, counseling, social science or related field required
LCPC, LCSW, LMFT required
Two years of job-related prior experience in a hospital setting preferred
Well-developed communications and human relations skills
Must have flexibility and be able work independently and with others effectively
Must be able to communicate clearly, both orally and written
Computer literate and experienced with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook 365, and Excel.
