Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Must be licensed in the state to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
Prefer one year of experience as an occupational therapist assistant.

Lift up to 50 lb. from floor to knuckle occasionally. Lift up to 25 lbs from knuckle to shoulder occasionally. Lift up to 10 lb from knuckle to shoulder frequently. Lift up to 10 lb. overhead occasionally. Pivot transfer up to 200 lb. occasionally. Carry up to 20 lb., 100 feet occasionally. Push/pull up to 75 lb., 500 feet frequently. Stand continuously for up to 2 hours. Use fine hand manipulation bilaterally occasionally. Use heavy grasp bilaterally frequently. Visually acuity corrected to 20/20. Tactile discrimination. Squat frequently. Maintain appropriate body mechanics with all lifting/ pulling/ transferring.
The occupational therapist assistant performs selected patient treatments under the general supervision of the staff occupational therapist, director, or his or her designee, and has the responsibility for the overall direction, utilization, supervision, and instruction of supportive staff, volunteers, and students utilized in the department. Performs other diverse duties as requested or required.
