CMA Assists the medical provider in the care and treatment of patients. Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
LPN Assists the medical provider in the care and treatment of patients. Cares for ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled persons in the clinic. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. May work under the supervision of a registered nurse.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants strongly preferred or
Graduation from a licensed practical nursing program or respiratory therapist program.
One year experience in a medical office preferred.
Available $3,000 sign on bonus for CMA
Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa
Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration*
Health care experience within the last five years preferred
