Summary

Maine Medical Partners Urology is seeking a fellowship-trained Endourologist to join the largest and most experienced team of urologists in northern New England.  This candidate must possess the ability to obtain their own percutaneous access. 

The successful candidate will join 10 Urologists and 10 advanced practice professionals, including Maine’s only fellowship-trained pediatric urologists and urologic oncologists.  Maine Medical Partners Urology provides care for the evaluation and management of a full range of adult and pediatric urologic diseases and disorders.  Urologists take a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, including the development of the Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Program and Kidney Stone Program.  Maine Medical Partners Urology manages both the surgical and medical aspects of complex stone disease. Maine Medical Center has state of the art Endourology equipment including plans for an advanced Endourology operative suite.

The position involves teaching residents and medical students from the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program, and an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.  Maine Medical Partners Urology serves as the core faculty for the Maine Medical Center Urology Residency, the first and only program in Maine.

The candidate will be joining Maine Medical Partners, a subsidiary of Maine Medical Center, Maine's largest multi-specialty medical group serving the healthcare needs of patients locally and throughout northern New England.  This high quality team of 600 physicians and 350 advanced practice professionals provides a wide range of hospital-based, primary, specialty and sub-specialty care delivered throughout a network of 54 locations across the state and acts as a regional referral network.
