Responsible for assessing and managing patients’ needs and developing an individualized and comprehensive nursing care plan, while serving as key liaison to the families. You’ll be part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team that provides unparalleled care for this special patient.
Demonstrates clinical competency of job techniques, process, procedures, equipment and material.
Assumes full responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for a patient caseload according to Shriners Hospitals Nursing Service Standards, Policies and Procedures.
Demonstrates care that meets the developmental needs of patients including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age and adolescent children.
Prioritizes and organizes nursing care according to the needs of assigned patients in relation to unit activities.
BSN required along with a current MA RN licensure; two years plus pediatric nursing experience preferred. Critical care/ICU experience required.
Current CPR certification required.
The work schedule is 36 hours weekly/day night rotation, every other weekend.
