OR Ward Clerk | Full-Time/M-F

The WC collaborates with and works under the direction and guidance of the Surgical Services Director to provide administrative and clerical support. Requirements Background in medical terminology preferred. Obtain continuing education credits/hours as required to maintain certification, if applicable. Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for service excellence. Excellent communication skills to include written and verbal comprehension and expression. Ability to manage a chaotic work environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with behavioral and or developmental medical conditions. Experience with Windows based technology, electronic health records and keyboarding skills required. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
