Summary

For a limited time SHH is offering up to $20,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Nurses!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time SHH RN position on or after 12/23/20.
  • Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Bonus is paid out in 3 installments – First month of employment, completion of one year of employment and completion of 2nd year of employment.  Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Maine Behavioral Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses in our Clinical Services unit/FLOAT POOL. This person will be available to float to all inpatient units, ranging from Adults to Children of all ages as well as cross train in Admissions when necessary. The Registered Nurse provides patient care, utilizing the nursing process in inpatient and outpatient facilities.   • Position Summary
    • The Registered Nurse provides patient care utilizing the nursing process in inpatient and outpatient facilities.      
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
    • License/Certifications: Licensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required.
    • Experience: 1+ year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of counseling theory, physical and psychological effects of mental illness and substance abuse preferred
    • Knowledge of bio-psychosocial assessments required
