Summary

  • Position Summary
    • The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs general, routine and service operations, as well as maintenance and construction duties relating to the safe and efficient operation of all facilities. This position completes routine maintenance on all buildings and equipment.  
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High school graduate of equivalent is preferred; technical school degree or equivalent preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Valid driver’s license.
    • Experience: 1+ years of experience or training in some areas of building maintenance or prior work experience in basic carpentry, painting, snow removal, plumbing, electrical, roofing/siding, window systems, heating/air-conditioning systems, and flooring is highly desirable. Prior work experience in basic carpentry, painting, snow removal, plumbing, electrical, roofing/siding, window systems, heating/air-conditioning systems, and flooring is highly desirable.
    • Able to read and write English and perform basic mathematical functions as required
