Treatment emphasizes return-to-work strategies and cognitive therapies to help patients transition smoothly from the hospital to the community and in the shortest possible time. Most patients transition from an inpatient hospital such as Maine Medical Center or Southern Maine Healthcare as well as from different facilities across the state of Maine. This nurse will provide care, assessments and interventions in an individual and milieu setting. Our dynamic learning environment encourages leadership, shared governance, and opportunity to grow. We provide a robust career ladder and the ability to explore the clinical side of mental health as part of our collaborative and multidisciplinary team.
