Oxford Hills Internal Medicine, a well-established internal medicine practice, is currently seeking a BC/BE Internist to join our exceptional team of providers. Oxford Hills Internal Medicine is committed to providing high quality care to our patients and is a NCQA recognized Level Three - Patient Centered Medical Home.
Now is a great time to join our team as we recently relocated our practice to our brand new, state-of-the-art medical office building in 2016. Come be a part of our dynamic team of providers, which includes seven internal medicine physicians and five nurse practitioners, working with exceptional support staff. Experience the warmth of a small town combined with a medical community working closely with colleagues throughout the MaineHealth system to ensure the healthcare needs of patients are delivered with the highest level of quality.
This position offers an opportunity to teach and mentor medical students as Stephens Memorial Hospital (a member of MaineHealth, the premier healthcare system in Maine, which includes Maine Medical Center) is a teaching site for the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine rural medicine clerkship program. Stephens Memorial Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital, has been recognized by the Leapfrog Group as one of the Top Rural Hospitals in the nation four times in the last seven years - 2009, 2013, 2014 and 2016 as delivering the best quality care while attaining the highest levels of efficiency.
