Covers all registration positions where needed, to include PBX area, Outpatient Registration, Clinic Registration, E. R. Registration. Admits patients to the hospital based on multiple tpes of service. prioritizes registrations accordingly and determines insurance coverage and informs patients or their representatives of financial requirements, collecting when necessary according to hospital policy. Acts as a resource for all co-workers.
Prefer one to three years related experience and/or related training. must be computer literate, will perform direct data netry in a timely and accurate manner. Must have the ability to deal with high volume desk and stressful situations involving the public, staff and insuance companies on a daily basis. Ability to work in all areas of Registration.
