Job Description


Under the direction of the Educational Programs Administrator, the Radiation Oncology Student Affairs Officer will provide administrative support for the Physician Residency Program, Medical Physics Residency Training Program and Brachytherapy Fellowship program. You will coordinate the Medical Student Electives and Clerkships, maintaining maximum student populations and ensuring completion of all documents and application materials. You will also serve as Housestaff Academic Personnel Coordinator for the Department of Radiation Oncology Residency with responsibility for on-line entry, Housestaff Database liaison and budget compliance.


We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with:

  • 0-3+ years of graduate medical education training program coordination experience
  • Basic understanding of the graduate medical education cycle
  • Knowledge of ACGME policies, requirements and structure
  • Strong communication, prioritizing and interpersonal skills, including exceptional diplomacy, tact and confidentiality
  • Ability to coordinate numerous assignments and projects simultaneously under heavy and fluctuating workloads, frequent interruptions and conflicting deadlines
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office
  • A passion for customer service
  • Outstanding analytical abilities
