Performs a limited range of secretarial duties in a department/office including screening calls, makes appointments, receptionist duties, maintains filing system, routine correspondence, handles basic travel arrangements. May take dictation and transcribe from notes or dictating equipment with speed and accuracy. Assist the nurse in coordinating and communicating information including organizing, setting priorities, and managing multiple priorities. Assist the nurse and doctor while in clinic if needed. High school diploma or GED required. Medical office experience preferred.
