We are looking to hire an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Specialty Float Pool in Boise! This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.   As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You will serve as a patient advocate by promoting their physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You will also be expected to educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.   About this Position:  RN's working in the Critical Care Specialty Float Pool will care for high acuity adults, and geriatric patients in our three intensive care units (ICU, CICU, CVICU) as well as supporting our Emergency Department and Telemetry Units.  This is a great opportunity to train is various high acuity areas of the hospital.  You will find a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and great opportunities for career growth and advanced training. General Requirements: Demonstrated team, analysis, presentation, and interpersonal skills Intermediate computer skills including medical record keeping Ability to work with a wide variety of people under adverse conditions 1+ year of previous Critical Care experience preferred Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) License/Certification:       Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire PALS within 12 months of hire NRP within 12 months of hire TNCC within 12 months of hire Colleagues of Saint Alphonsus Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout SAHS and Trinity Health.
