Responsible for the reception and registration process of all patients which includes interviewing the patient to obtain updated demographic information, insurance information and determination of the appropriate pay source for the medical visit. Emphasis on excellent customer service skills as well as attention to detail. Familiarity with multi-line phone systems preferred.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous switchboard experience and knowledge of hospital systems preferred. Qualified candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, experience with medical terminology, advanced computer skills and excellent customer service skills.
