Director of Business Development SCH · Administration New Lenox, IL Non-Nursing Full Time, Days, Monday-Friday Posted 06/11/2020 Req # 5131 Execute on Strategic Plan, with emphasis on Advance Growth Strategic Imperative Conduct external market analysis, financial analysis, and internal evaluation, working with clinical leaders, to synthesize these assessments into clinical growth plans and measures Monitor national, regional, and local trends and keep Executive Team informed and aware of implications Service line strategies Develop maintain service line business plans, with input from clinical leaders (hospital and medical staff), for designated service lines Establish service line reports, including scorecards – report at least quarterly Monitor market share – with an eye towards growth opportunities of high contribution margin services Annually complete competitor analysis and routinely monitor competitor strategies and capabilities Identify and vet new service opportunities and innovations in health care Ambulatory development – assist in vetting, planning and executing on ambulatory strategies Digital development – support development and execution on the organization’s digital plan, with a focus on digital front door Identify low performing services, and identify ways to improve or evaluate for exit Support evaluation of new partnership opportunities Project management of business development initiatives Assist in meeting goals of medical staff development plan in non-primary care specialties by vetting options, from joining existing groups to employment Facilitate setting up processes to establish SCH as an effective transfer-in hospital Support acquisition of new growth opportunities, whether it be through market shifts, partnerships, new development, or M&A Develop trusting relationships with key members of the hospital and medical staff, and be seen as knowledgeable, energetic, influential, and able to confidently execute;  must be a team player.   Qualifications: MBA or MHA At least 5 years experience in business development in a health care provider organization Apply Share
