Physician Assistant - Interventional Radiology - VIR Lab
Shift: Full Time
Under the supervision of a physician, provides patient care in all areas served by the department.

Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient medical data, including history and results of physical examination.
Documents history and physical updates.
Obtains patient consents necessary for treatment(s).
Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram and laboratory tests. Interprets test results.
Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, suturing, wound care and the managing of infections. Educates patient regarding their condition and recovery.
Develops treatment plans.
Performs other duties as assigned
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: Current Oklahoma license as a Physician Assistant. BLS (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of proper medical management of the patient: appropriate drug dosages and potential drug interactions, procedures of examination, proper technique for obtaining and preserving laboratory specimens. Strong knowledge base of disease processes and their treatments.
