Produces diagnostic images of anatomic structures and records physiologic data utilizing ionizing radiation, giving the utmost attention to the needs of the patient and family with limited direct supervision. Provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED. Graduate of anapproved two year program in Radiologic Technology.
Minimum Experience: None.
Certification/Licensure: Holdsand maintains current registry certificate of the American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists. Holds and maintains current New Mexico StateCertificate as a Radiographic Radiologic Technologist.
