Operates ultrasound equipment to produce images and physiologic data of internal organs and tissues for use by physicians in the diagnosis of disease. Provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
MinimumEducation: Graduate of Approved Program ofUltrasound/Sonography, or equivalent.
Minimum Experience: New graduate from an approvededucational program, but prefer at least one year experience.
Certification/Licensure: ARDMS Registered, or if newgraduate must be ARDMS eligible and pass a test in at least one area (i.e.Abdomen, OBGYN) including physics within one year of employment. Must beCPR certified.
