Practice Highlights: Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Boise and Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) seek a cardiac Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with a genuine interest in heart disease in women. This APP must be committed to a team approach to patient-centered care. We need a provider who is compassionate, smart, detail-oriented, and hard working.
The primary role of this provider would be to become part of a team providing mainly outpatient care to patients at the region’s only dedicated Women's Cardiology clinic and to help us expand our services to include cardio-oncology care. A secondary role could include performing stress tests, tilt table testing, placing orders, rounding on and assisting in timely discharge of patients from the hospital.
Licensed as an advanced practice professional and be certified as a Physician's Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or other Advanced Practice Professional in Idaho.
Meet the medical center’s customer service standards including interpersonal communication and professional conduct expectations.
Previous nursing and/or advance practice provider experience in cardiology and/or oncology is a definite benefit. Comfort with ECGs and cardiac patients is a must.
Comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills to facilitate capture of all pertinent patient and operational information necessary to achieve successful patient outcomes and organizational efficiencies.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional communication skills, and collaboration with Cardiologists, Oncologists, Radiologists, Pharmacists, echo-techs, and other members of the medical staff and administration.
Maintain a flexible schedule to ensure patient and staff needs are addressed and documented in a timely manner.
Familiarity with computer systems and comfort with electronic health care records is required.
