Job Description

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, the Medication Reconciliation Technician will be responsible for the collection and electronic documentation of medication and allergy histories of new admissions. Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 18 years of age. Certification / License: Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with Massachusetts of Pharmacy Experience: Successful completion of a minimum of 500 hours of employment as a pharmacy technician trainee or successful completion of a Board approved pharmacy technician training program. High level of verbal and written communication skills. Strong aptitude in math and science. 3-5 years’ experience in a retail setting preferred. High level of professionalism. Prior experience with patient interactions. MRMC Differentials: Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
