Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, the Medication Reconciliation Technician will be responsible for the collection and electronic documentation of medication and allergy histories of new admissions.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 18 years of age.
Certification / License: Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with Massachusetts of Pharmacy
Experience: Successful completion of a minimum of 500 hours of employment as a pharmacy technician trainee or successful completion of a Board approved pharmacy technician training program. High level of verbal and written communication skills. Strong aptitude in math and science. 3-5 years’ experience in a retail setting preferred. High level of professionalism. Prior experience with patient interactions.
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
