Valir PACE is a Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), and is the future of healthcare. It utilizes a team-based care approach providing a personalized, comprehensive healthcare plan to the most at risk, those without access to quality healthcare, the under and uninsured. Individuals enrolled in our program have better health outcomes, less visits to the emergency room, while continuing to live in their own home, often times without ever having to go into a nursing home.
The focus of every PACE organization is to help the elderly live in the community for as long as possible. To meet this goal, PACE organizations focus on preventive care.
Want to make a real difference in the lives of seniors? Valir PACE Foundation, is in need of a full-time Restorative Aide to join our innovative geriatric health care therapy program.
Certified Nurse Aide resumes responsibility for providing care and assistance with activities of daily living, housekeeping within the therapy department, delivery of supervised maintenance programs, and other tasks assigned by supervising therapists.
Licenses or Certifications: CPR Certification, Nurses Assistant Certification assigned by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing for Adult Day Health or above, restorative aide training reviewed and approved by the OK Department of Health.
Total Education, Vocational Training, and Experience: High School Graduate or equivalent preferred, completion of qualified CNA program in the state of Oklahoma, completion of restorative aide training. One (1) year prior experience working with a frail and elderly population.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to seek assistance as needed;
Ability to understand and follow through with directions given related to participant care;
Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with participants, families, co-workers, supervisor, visitors, and other employees
