The Senior Analyst position is for a seasoned report writer that will be creating reports from live Production systems, so the use of highly efficient report writing is absolutely necessary.

Utilizing the clinical knowledge, the analyst will write interpretive clinical reports relevant to the patients’ care and/or clinical operations.
The Clinical Report Analyst will work with clinical IT group to design and modify queries and/or reports to the support the Clinical IT team as well as supporting clinical departments, both for ad hoc and automated/scheduled reporting.
The analyst collaborates with clinical team, Clinical managers and Sr Clinical Mgr to prioritize report requests.
The analyst will become familiar with the database software and structure of the key clinical application, which may be but not limited to Sybase, SQL, MS Access, etc.
The analyst should be familiar with which report writer software is compatible with each application, so that the completed reports can be imbedded to the users’ front-end application for on-demand reports.
The analyst will insure an efficient and reliable environment through monitoring processes and being proactive in identifying potential problems and solutions.
The analyst may need to install new versions of report writing software and insure effective support and operations of the application/database environment.
The analyst, as part of a team, may need to provide Help Desk Services with documentation on any trouble shooting issues that end users may encounter with running reports, to minimize calls to the on-call support staff
The analyst should retain documentation on all report requests, specifications, version history, and supply duplicate reports in both production and test where possible.
The analyst may be required to work in other report type applications to assist with adjusting label (report) formats for pharmacy labels, lab labels, etc.

3+ years of experience in working with SQL Server
3+ years developing SQL Queries using Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008.
3+ years of experience designing, writing, maintaining Crystal Reports
3+ years of experience designing, writing, maintaining MS Access reports
Ability to use complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, optimize and format custom reports
Work effectively with all members of a clinical & technical project teams
Demonstrated project estimation experience
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills, including ability to organize time and work on multiple tasks and follow through to completion of task or project.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including high degree of attention to detail and accurate processes.
Self-motivated to be able to work independently and with a team.
Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
