 *32 hours per week*

Maine Behavioral Healthcare, a MaineHealth member, has an exciting and interesting position for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to work with the Southern Maine Health Care Primary Care in Sanford. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psych NP with experience and/or interest in integrating services within a primary care practice. In conjunction with the medical team, the nurse practitioner will provide face to face psychiatric evaluations, medication management and health care to patients as well as consultation to the medical providers and the primary care team.

In addition, the PMHNP integrates biopsychosocial information into single, shared medical record and obtains consultation from a collaborating physician when appropriate. 

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·       Ability to attain (or currently licensed as) an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License in the State of Maine.

·       Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. 

·       Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preferred.
