The Genomics Project Manager will join the Markey Cancer Center (MCC) and report directly to the Director of Phase I Unit. This position will interface with physicians in MCC, MCC-Affiliate Network, MCC-Research Network & oncology patients to collect patient information for the Molecular Tumor Board.
The primary purpose of the Molecular Tumor Board is to collect and analyze patient information in the context of the biology of the cancer, develop treatment recommendations based upon clinical characteristics and molecular data and analyze how well a treatment worked.
The secondary purpose of the Molecular Tumor Board is to serve in an advisory capacity to the MCC Clinical Research community, MCC-Affiliate Network and the MCC-Research Network.
The selected candidate must be self-directed, demonstrate superior oral, written and interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
