The Mental Health Therapist is an advanced psychiatric social worker with clinical responsibilities. This individual helps clients with mental, emotional and physical issues and creates specific therapies and exercises for the client and develops plans for ongoing care to improve their quality of life.
The Mental Health Therapist must have a least a Masters Degree in social work from a CSWE approved school of social work or be licensed as a LMSW (Licensed Master of Social Work) with an equivalent degree. It is preferred this individual have at least two years of prior experience in the mental health field. Must be licensed in the state of Iowa as a LMSW at a minimum preferably with a LISW (License in Social Work).
