High School diploma or GED required.
Experience/TrainingMinimum (6) months previous related experience preferred.
License/CertificationWashington State CNA, Certified Medical Assistant or proof of completed EMT certification required. MA-R license required within six month of hire if EMT certification is used as basis for hire. American Heart Association BLS required. MA-P (Medical Assistant – Phlebotomy) required. Required to complete MA-P license training and apply for MA-P license within 6 months of hire, for current employees within 18 months from 8/30/2018. Continuing in the position is contingent on obtaining this license in a timely fashion.
Other QualificationsEffective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Must be able to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications to perform work. Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills required. Must be able to effectively prioritize workload amongst frequent interruptions with competing priorities. Knowledge of the healthcare environment and transport equipment required. Ability to coordinate work schedule with requirements of position (may include overtime and weekend work).
