Job Description

The Materials Management Coordinator, under the general supervision of the Manager of Materials Management, performs duties related to the day-to-day functions of the department, including receiving of incoming deliveries and related documentation, delivery of received goods to the proper location, processing inventory requisitions and delivering inventory items as needed. Receives incoming deliveries and related documentation Delivery of received goods to the proper location Processes inventory requisitions Delivers inventory items Monitors inventories associated with Materials Management Conducts regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory Responsible for ensuring that items in the inventories are in acceptable condition, monitoring expiration dates. Assists in the conducting of inventory integrity including but not limited to year-end inventory Assists in setting and maintain par levels for inventory items Participates in Lean education and Lean projects Performs other duties as required Weekend and holiday hours as required. Minimum Requirements   High School Diploma or GED One year or more of experience in hospital setting preferred.   Excellent customer service skills. Must be a Team Player. Must be detail oriented and have the strong ability to multi-task. Must be able to successfully prioritize and manage a stressful, fast paced environment. Excellent computer skills MediTech Materials Management experience is a plus Lean experience is a plus. Valid Massachusetts driver’s license. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Verbal and written communication skills with mathematical ability required.
