Performs cardiac ultrasounds on adult inpatient and outpatient population. The Lead is responsible for the direction and coordination of personnel during a shift however, does not confer supervisory status to hire, fire or discipline. EducationSuccessful completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program required.
Experience/TrainingMinimum two (2) years previous related experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirement.
License/CertificationCurrent American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDCS) registration or registry eligible or ARRT (E) required. If hired as registry eligible, must have ARDMS or ARDMCS within 1 year of hire. Current American Heart Association (AHA) healthcare provider BLS certification required.
