Job Description

Job Purpose: Responsible for the public safety of the Cambridge Health Alliance and its surrounding ground. Performs general law enforcement duties in the protection of persons and property and the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules and regulations of Cambridge Health Alliance and applicable federal, state and local laws to prevent losses due to accidents and incidents. Understands principles of criminal justice. Demonstrated good communication skills. Public relations oriented. Respectful in attitude, appearance and ability to supervise. Qualifications: Education/Experience: Two years of college education in law enforcement, security or related field and completion of a basic law enforcement training academy. Three years prior experience as a law enforcement officer. Considerable knowledge of security and law enforcement practices. Ability to produce a concise, accurate, well written report. Ability to solve problems on an independent basis. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Licensure: Possess and maintain a valid Massachusetts Drivers License Eligible to attain SSPO powers in accordance with Mass. GL 22c S63. Valid Massachusetts FID Card Certifications: CPR Certificate First Responder This position covers multiple locations, travel will be required in between CHA Clinics & Hospitals [cha010112]
