Job Description

The Volunteer Services Coordinator supports and assists the Director of Volunteer Services & Gift Shop Operations with the implementation and coordination of all aspects of operation of all PBMC & WCGH volunteer programs, WCGH Aid activities, and the PBMC & WCGH Gift Shops. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Associate’s Degree or minimum 2+year equivalent related experience in an office or retail management environment preferred. License/Certifications: N/A Experience: Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (ex. Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.) Volunteer management, retail management, or office management experience helpful. Database management experience helpful. (ex. Volgistics, Raiser’s Edge) Cash handling experience required. Highly organized and ability to multitask with success and accuracy. Ability to interpret documents, write and update policies, procedures and coordinate written/electronic communications effectively. Comfortable with public speaking. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure to calculate and compute rate, ratio, and percent. Effective time management and communication skills. Must be flexible. Must be willing to help solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Highly self-motivated. (often works alone) Ability to travel as needed.
