Education: High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED) is required. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing..
Licensure/Certification: Must have a valid unrestricted LPN license for the State of Ohio. Current BLS required. Must have Intravenous Certification
Experience: One to three years’ experience specific to physician office practice or Health System preferred. Experience in rehabilitation and/or skilled nursing preferred. Must have experience working with the adult and geriatric population.
Skills: Must have excellent “customer service” skills, including the ability to exhibit patience and tact with all constituents including physicians, patients and associates. Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes and be “on call” per department requirements. Be cooperative and collaborative, and have the documented ability to work with speed and proficiency while under stress.Must have basic computer skills and EMR (electronic medical records) experience. Must be able to print and write legibly and accurately. Possess the ability to calculate simple mathematics and follow instructions.
