Food and Nutrition Supervisor – Dietary – Haven of Our Lady of Peace – Full-time, Rotating-shift – Pensacola, FL
The Haven of Our Lady of Peace is a 120-bed skilled nursing/rehab facility operated by Sacred Heart Health System and Methodist Homes for the Aging. Haven's history goes back to 1939 when a brave group of Carmelite Sisters began caring for Pensacola seniors at a home overlooking Perdido Bay. Haven has enjoyed a reputation for decades as a place where a dedicated staff provides specialized care.
We are most proud of our homelike atmosphere. The Haven is divided into four living areas, or "courts" as we like to call them. Each "court" features a homelike atmosphere. This modern design eliminates long corridors often seen in traditional nursing homes. Each room opens to a common dining and activities area, and to a central nursing station.

What you will do:
As a Food and Nutrition Supervisor with Haven of Our Lady of Peace, you will have the opportunity to supervise food and nutrition services, activities, and resources.
Supervises the daily activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities. Orients and trains new employees.
Conducts selection interviewing and makes recommendations for hiring, promotions and transfers. Monitors employee performance and production; participates in performance activities.
Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
Ensures departmental compliance with applicable regulations, internal/external standards, policies and procedures.
Assists manager in planning, organizing and directing operations of the department. Participates in planning of menus and specialized diets.
What you will need:
Food Service Professional credentialed from the ServSafe National Restaurant Association.
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
1 year of experience required
