Provides professional nursing care for clinic/office patient within the scope of regulations outlined in the New Mexico Nurse Practice Act.
Obtain and document patient vital signs.
Perform testing such as oximetry, glucometry, urinalysis and other tests when requested per practitioner.
Educate patient as directed.
Perform clerical duties as needed.
Administer medications and/or injections, prescribed procedures with instruction to patient.
Maintain patient care areas.
Monitor pharmacy area.
As outlined in the New Mexico Nurse Practice Act.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education – graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Work Experience – at least one year experience providing direct patient care, physician clinic setting preferred.
Training – N/A
License/Certification – New Mexico RN/LPN license. BLS certified.
ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS: Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
