What You’ll Do
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for rendering speech therapy services to patients of all ages. This is a hospital-based outpatient position.
The successful candidate will be able to:
Demonstrate and implement knowledge of current trends and practices
Develop appropriate plans of care, treatment strategy, and goals for each patient
Communicate and document results of treatment, including patient progress toward established goals
Consistently promote a positive team environment through consultation and practice with a variety of other healthcare professionals within the hospital
What You’ll Bring
Appropriate degree in Speech Therapy required (whether master’s or doctorate)
OK Speech Therapy license required
Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility
Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills
Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions
Ability to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others
Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful situations
Demonstrate maturity and accountability
