Answer all external and internal calls using good judgment in prioritizing calls according their urgency.
Greet all customers entering the hospital in a courteous and friendly way.
Responsible for learning and understanding of operator training information and how to use communications for emergency situations.
Complete all needed daily reporting.
Accurately complete any additional reporting/documentation requested by Supervisor for departmental functions.
Assist in clerical work during slow times/off-shifts.
Assist in keeping the hospital directory up to date.
Other essential duties may be assigned as necessary to the operations of the department.
Entry level position, no prior work experience required.
