Lakes Regional Healthcare is a growing and dynamic healthcare facility located in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The hospital provides inpatient services that include acute, critical care, and obstetric care, along with outpatient services including surgery, imaging, lab, emergency, visiting physician clinics, and primary care clinics. The hospital is located in the heart of the Iowa Great Lakes (Vacation Okoboji). This position is an opportunity to become part of the Administrative team at Lakes Regional Healthcare. As a senior executive, this position will interact with other quality leaders at the hospital and be a contributor toward improving the health and well-being of patients in the Iowa Great Lakes region. The Vice President will oversee departments to include Laboratory, Imaging Services, Pharmacy, Rehab Services, Public Health, Homecare, and Hospice. Specific duties of the position include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Position will manage, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day operations including financial management, operating budget, expense management, staffing, and Medical Staff relations.
We are looking for a proven leader who has a Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline, with a Master's degree in health care administration, business administration, or nursing administration preferred. Licensure in Nursing, Imaging, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Laboratory, or other Ancillary Clinical profession required. Qualified candidates will have five years of hospital management. Other desired qualities would include an ability to effectively communicate expectations, motivate individuals, foster collaboration between departments, and a proven ability to provide positive and motivating leadership that supports teamwork.
