Job Description

We have new physicians and a renovation both on their way - come grow with us!  We are looking for both experienced L&D nurses or RNs with at least one year of RN experience who are ready and willing to learn Labor and Delivery. *Up to $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS for experienced L&D nurses, and additional bonuses available for all RNs joining the L&D team. Registered Nurse who has acquired advanced knowledge of physiological, psychosocial and therapeutic components specific to the hospitalized patient. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation and that care meets JCAHO, Hospital and other accrediting agencies requirements/standards. Responsible for directing and guiding patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Responsible for acting as a preceptor for new orientees on the nursing unit. The graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed in the state of Arkansas. Prior clinical experienced is needed, however beginning practitioners will be considered. He/she must posses effective written and oral communication skills and maintain a good working relationship interdepartmental, intradepartmental and with the medical staff. Must possess knowledge and skills and participate in educational conferences/updates to maintain professional growth in areas of responsibility. Work is demanding physically and mentally, walking and standing most of the time on duty. Any exceptions must be approved by department manager or administration. Volunteers to work extra shifts in times of emergency or extenuating circumstances and /or situations. Must meet all requirements of RN job description. Must be the graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Certified in CPR and obtain NRP if required by home department.     Qualifications Licenses & Certifications Required Neonate Resuscitate Adv.
