Regions Hospital has an opportunity for an Ultrasound Sonographer to join our highly engaged Radiology team. This position is part time and may include some weekend coverage. As a sonographer, you will perform a wide variety of high quality clinical ultrasound procedures including advanced and specialized procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, advanced knowledge and initiative.
Requirements include: Completion of an accredited two year allied health program or two years of college with emphasis on the biological sciences and completion of a formal medical Sonography training program (one-year minimum) or equivalent experience. Must have ARDMS registry on or before first day of employment. Must have Registered Vascular Technology (RVT) registry on or before first day of employment BLS certification by AHA or ALA sponsored program on or before first day of employment.
