Regions Outpatient Rehab is seeking a full time Psychologist. Requirements include; Doctorate degree in psychology(PhD or PsyD). Two years of supervised clinical experience with a broad range of presenting problems and therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy. License to practice independently as Licensed Psychologist (LP).
Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience and/or training in rehabilitation psychology, health psychology, neuropsychology, or work in medical settings.
Position will provide direct clinical care to adult populations. Positions will include 95% outpatient care at the Health Partners Neuroscience Center and possibly 5% care at Regions Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. Applicants will be familiar with current, evidence-based approaches for the assessment and treatment of a wide variety of mental health conditions. They will evaluate and treat patients with a number of physical and primarily neurological conditions including but not limited to: TBI, stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputations Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, dementias, ALS, and other conditions requiring rehabilitation.
Applicants will demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language therapists, and other rehabilitation providers.
