Regions Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center serving adults and children in Minnesota and western Wisconsin for more than 140 years. With the support and resources of the Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy Manager, the Clinical Pharmacist will work independently under minimal supervision and work cooperatively with health system and pharmacy staff. Clinical Pharmacists are responsible for the provision of pharmacy services including decentralized clinical services, inpatient dispensing, and IV preparation. As a clinical Pharmacist you will provide pharmaceutical services by reviewing medication orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, providing drug information to healthcare providers and overseeing the work of direct support personal. The ideal Clinical Pharmacist will have the ability to set priorities in an environment with frequent interruptions and be able to adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree Experience: • Currently functioning in a decentralized capacity (comparable role), or • Completion of a Post-Doctorate Pharmacy Program (i.e., residency or fellowship; e.g., PGY1 or PGY2 American Society of Health System Pharmacists accredited pharmacy program), or • Board certification (e.g. Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist) Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Minnesota. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Same as above Experience: General medical/surgical clinical pharmacy experience. Post-graduate training and/or board certification in area of specialty (e.g. Board Certified Critical Care Pharmacist, Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist, Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist, etc.) Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Licensed preceptor with MN Board of Pharmacy is preferred for any pharmacist roles that will precept students and interns.
