Job Description: Regions Radiology has an opening for an experienced and professional Operations Coordinator. This position is responsible for supporting the daily operations and activities of the radiology department and provides administrative support to department leaders. Holds responsibility for on-going development and maintenance of departmental databases and other information systems that monitor and report on operational processes. This position also assures the ability to report routine and ad hoc measurements as requested by organizational and departmental leadership. This position is responsible for providing support to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Radiology department. This position also relieves the Director of Radiology of routine administrative detail by anticipating needs and accomplishing tasks without direction in some cases. The duties are broad, varied and often of complex and confidential nature. Performs administrative and clerical duties such as assisting in compliance activities, reporting and tracking of key information including information related to our regulatory agencies. Key contact point for the Radiologist contractors. High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or above preferred. Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible administrative and coordination experience.
