Job Description: Regions Hospital Laboratory is currently seeking a professional, quality-focused Laboratory Services Technician II to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent customer service skills, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills as well as demonstrate exemplary professional behavior, living the mission, vision, and values, including all expected organizational standards of conduct. As a Laboratory Services Technician II (LST) you will performs multiple skills or functions associated with obtaining, receiving and processing of laboratory specimens, operation of both manual and automated instrumentation and performing testing as well as being the “go to” liaison for the department for duties as assigned by Laboratory Leadership . You will also demonstrates leadership skills by demonstrating the ability to train personnel and determine competency levels in all trainees, providing direction and strategies for success and provide ongoing mentoring. Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: 6 months of applicable (related to medical) health care experience The following may substitute for the above experience required. • Completion of a health care program training (e.g., CMA, EMT, paramedic, phlebotomy). • Experience as an LST I at Region’s Hospital. • Graduation with an associate degree from an approved Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program; equivalent degree or experience may substitute for the above experience. • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific area may substitute for above Thank you for considering joining our team at Regions Hospital and being part of something special! Schedule

Day shift, flexible start time with rotating weekends and holidays.
