This Ingredient Room Attendant positon performs ingredient control functions. Helps Food Production Supervisor maintain an efficient inventory control system, weighs ingredients for recipe production, and maintains safe and sanitary storage areas. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: None Experience: Previous inventory or ingredient room experience. Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: None Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to read and follow oral and written directions and spreadsheets. Knowledge of current local and government food safety & sanitation regulations. Additional Information: The primary responsibilities of this Ingredient Room Attendant/Storeroom Clerk position involves managing shipments and inventory in the Food and Nutrition department at Regions Hospital. This may include but is not limited to: unloading pallets of shipments received, inspecting shipments for quality, organizing the inventory in the ingredient room, following par levels, placing orders, complying with all OSHA regulations, and demonstrating the proper labeling and rotation of foods. This position works independently and involves physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling carts, bending, twisting, and reaching. Previous experience in a warehouse/stock room setting is highly desirable. Monday-Friday; every other weekend. 6:00am-2:30pm
