Job Description: Regions Hospital has an opportunity for a part time Cook position! The Cook position will performs food preparation and cooking tasks in the kitchen and café. This position prepares, cooks, supplies, and distributes food to various serving lines. This position also cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, and work areas. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Three years of professional cooking experience in a healthcare kitchen, restaurant or catering with high volume, high quality food production, short order cooking or institutional baking. Culinary education will substitute for two years of professional experience. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Culinary Arts Degree ServSafe Certification Additional Information: Title: Cook Relief #8 This position will work every other weekend & holiday rotation. Schedule runs Sunday-Saturday on a 2 week rotation. This is a part time position with 32 hours per pay period with opportunity to pick up additional shifts in the department. This position is eligible for PTO accrual.
