Job Description: Regions Hospital has an opportunity for a Cook position! The Cook position will performs food preparation and cooking tasks in the kitchen and café. This position prepares, cooks, supplies, and distributes food to various serving lines. This position also cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, and work areas. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Three years of professional cooking experience in a healthcare kitchen, restaurant or catering with high volume, high quality food production, short order cooking or institutional baking. Culinary education will substitute for two years of professional experience. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Culinary Arts Degree ServSafe Certification Additional Information: Per Diem/On Call positions are very flexible and requires only two weekends out of the month along with one week day. This is a great position for those looking to pick up hours in a second job. Schedule

This is an on call position. The specific shifts and hours vary based on the needs of the department and your availability. This shift information will be reviewed further in the in-person interview.
