Job Description

The Behavioral Health Coordinator provides clinic reception, patient appointment scheduling, referral administration/information, registration, phone coverage, medical record and other clerical support services to designated area. Works with patients of all ages, primarily adults. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Two years’ experience in a position interacting with the public using telephones and computers. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Exceptional customer service skills (internal and external customers). Expertise in the use of computer, phone system and other office machines, as applicable to position. Knowledge of all policies, procedures and regulations relating to position and clinic assignment. Ability to systematically and skillfully respond to telephone calls and customer requests. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to give precise attention to details in a distracting environment. Additional Information: This will be a float position between Arden Hills, Maplewood, and Woodbury BH Clinics. Hours will vary, depending on clinic need. Working times can be anywhere from 7:15 am to 7:15 pm.
