The Hostess takes initiative in promoting outstanding customer service to all internal/external customers. Consistently monitor patient satisfaction to ensure a positive patient experience and exceed patient expectations. This includes seeking to meet customer needs, expectations, and demands quickly and effectively; remaining calm and professional when dealing with difficult customers, receiving complaints from customers and taking action to remedy the complaint.
High school graduate or equivalent. Possess an understanding of therapeutic diets and is able to explain therapeutic diets to patients as evidenced by the ability to pass the hostess competency. The ability to be trained and have basic limited knowledge of Microsoft Word. Able to utilize and care for tablet computer to enter patient meal selection in compliance with therapeutic diets. Job involves considerable standing and walking. Must have strong customer service skills.
