Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of the Diagnostic Imaging Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS). Oversees integration and configuration of Diagnostic Imaging modalities. Responsible for equipment maintenance and systems testing, system upgrades and new software installations. Acts as a liaison between Diagnostic Imaging and IT as well as other DI customers.
Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education/technical training and experience that demonstrates competency required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Informatics or clinical health care related field preferred.
Experience/Training3 years of clinical information systems experience. Formal training in systems analysis, implementation and project management
Other QualificationsExperience in healthcare information analysis and computer system support, Windows operating systems and familiarity with SQL scripting, workflow support for Radiology, Mammography and Cardiology, Modality configuration and troubleshooting. Analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to conduct controlled testing of systems and applications. Excellent written/verbal communication skills with a focus on documentation of system support processes and workflows. Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
