The Supervisor Volunteer Services is responsible for supervising frontline volunteer staff, assisting the Volunteer Services Department special and on-going projects while promoting quality care and a positive patient experience at Skagit Regional Health.
Minimum HS Diploma or GED required, Associate’s Degree preferred.
Experience/TrainingRecent experience in a hospice, home health, acute care or primary care facility required. Minimum of 2 years of staff supervisory or managerial experience highly preferred. Program management, problem solving, conflict resolution, strategic planning and staff supervision experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication, ability to interact with diverse staff, volunteers, community members and patients and their families. Experience with retail store operations including accounting, purchasing, customer service and merchandising highly preferred.
Other QualificationsAbility to work independently, within a team, and collaborate with staff at all levels of an organization. Ability to motivate and lead others using interpersonal, structural, and educational methods. Ability to use Microsoft office suite and data management applications.
